Experience

Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of The Financial Planning Association. Mark is highly qualified and respected within the profession and has a wealth of experience working with financial planning practices of all sizes over the past 25 years.

In 2008, Mark was involved in the creation of The NAB Academy, where he was Dean of Advice until his appointment as FPA CEO. Prior to this appointment Mark chaired the CFP Certification Committee for the FPA, and initially joined NAB as Managing Director of financial planning firm Godfrey Pembroke from 2003 – 2008.

During 2006 Mark successfully helped Godfrey Pembroke transition more than 200 advisers to a fee-for-service remuneration model.

Mark commenced his role at FPA as CEO in July 2010.
